View was fantastic, breakfast was very good, and beds were exceptionally comfortable. The room was fine and well-equipped, it had central heating, TV, and a sitting area. Private bathroom was clean.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were unresponsive.

This modern hotel has friendly staff at the reception desk, a perfect room with a good view, a comfortable single bed, and free wifi.

There is definitely a hotel bar missing. Unfortunately the restaurant does not replace a hotel bar.

The hotel is very warm at night, even though the heating is turned off! And it is very loud at night because of the outside noises!

The location was perfectly comfortable and unbeatable, with a heavy-duty sculpture within walking distance. All the staff were amicable and exceptionally nice. - Actually everything was perfect; I would choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chemnitz.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, and all the staff made my stay very welcome. However, I shall be making acomplaint as I was charged for breakfast for 3 mornings, yet only went to the restaurant for breakfast on the first morning, and the lady at reception would not refund this money ! This has slightly tarnished an otherwise excellent stay at the Mercure.

They only thing I did not like was being charged for 2 Breakfasts which I did not have !!! I informed the lady at reception of this but she just siad I had said I wanted breakfast - which I did for my first morning, but not for every morning. I think there was a breakdown in communication - though was shocked not to have the cost of two breakfasts refunded when checking out !!! If I can have a refund of this money, I would not hesitate to recommend your hotel.... otherwise I would have to avoid you and any recommendation as this would be very poor customer service and I would be frightened to use the hotel in future. I have therefore ticked "no" to below question, though would hope to be able to change this to "yes" !
